Note: This receipt only applies to In-Person Event or P2P In-Person Event campaign types.
The Order Receipt is sent to supporters after a purchase. It is an adaptive receipt that will show different itemized sections depending on what the supporter paid for. For example, if someone purchased tickets to your event and added a Shop item and optional donation to their order before checking out, the Order Receipt includes record of their tickets, Shop item, and donation.
The Order Receipt will document their payment details, including any discounts received or fees they choose to cover. The Order Receipt also includes a statement on the tax deductibility of their contribution.
You can customize the Order Receipt that purchasers receive with a general message, plus customizable messages for each section relevant to the supporter's purchase.
Note: Not all sections of the Order Receipt may apply to your event. Some sections are relevant only when certain features are enabled.

Note: Your Order Receipt will include a link back to your campaign page. It will also include the event date you’ve set and the time you have indicated, if you chose to provide the time. Be aware that changing the date/time of your event after registrations have begun may mean that some people have outdated information in their receipts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does everyone that was registered as part of an order receive a copy of the Order Receipt?
No. The Order Receipt is sent to the person who completed the order. If participants were issued fundraising pages (on an event with a peer-to-peer component), those participants will receive an email inviting them to claim their fundraising pages.
My campaign involves fundraising. Does this receipt include access to their fundraising page?
There is a separate email that is triggered to participants who create fundraising pages on your campaign, called the Fundraiser Welcome Email. If someone registered for your P2P In-Person Event and creates a fundraising page, they receive both the Order Receipt documenting their registration and also the Fundraiser Welcome Email, which links them to their fundraising pages and encourages them to begin inviting donors.
