Pledge It provides automated donation receipts that are instantly sent to donors to confirm their gift. All receipts include a confirmation about the tax-deductibility of the donor’s gift, plus the option to customize the message.
Steps
Visit your campaign’s Dashboard.
Select Settings from the left sidebar menu, then select Email.
Click Edit under Donation Receipt. You will see a preview of the email display in the right pane. In the left pane, you can use the text editor to customize your preferred message.
Click Save when finished editing.

Can I resend donation receipts?
Yes, you can resend donation receipts to any donor as needed. If they had a typo in their email that prevented them from receiving the receipt, you can pull up their donation record and edit the donor contact information to fix their email address before resending.
Can donation receipts be sent to offline donors?
No. If adding general offline donations to your campaign, your organization is responsible for ensuring those donors receive a receipt for their gift.
Note: An exception is if you are using the GivePoint Terminal, the admin-facing checkout solution within your campaign's dashboard, to process an order customer who wants to pay offline for things like tickets, shop items, raffle entries, live auction items, fund a need donations, and more. In-order donations can be added alongside their order, and the supporter will receive the Order Receipt that includes documentation of their offline donation.
Best Practices
Consider including your organization’s EIN number in your donation receipt to make it easy for your donors to file their taxes.
