Offline donations can be added to any Pledge It campaign. They will contribute to your campaign total and display in your donation feed.
Steps
Visit your campaign’s Dashboard.
Click the green Create + button in the top right corner.
Select Donation.
In the pop-up that appears, enter the donor name, donation amount, and payment type.
You can optionally adjust if the donation displays as public or anonymous, record additional payment info, or credit the donation to a fundraiser or team if you are hosting a peer-to-peer campaign.
Click Save when finished.
Note: Your Donation Report will include offline donations and will have a column for any "other payment info" you enter.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Pledge It send donation receipts to offline donors?
No. Donation receipts are not triggered for offline donors. Your organization will want to ensure the donor receives acknowledgement of their gift.
Can I include the donor’s full address and phone number in their offline donation record?
Yes. You can edit the donation after adding it to view more custom fields, including special comments or recognition.
Do fundraisers or team captains receive a notification when an offline donation is credited to their fundraising page or team?
Yes, fundraisers or team captains will receive an email notification about the donor’s gift, but they will not see the option to thank offline donors.
