Delete an order

Remove an order and any of its participants from your campaign

Note: This feature only applies to In-Person Event or P2P In-Person Event campaign types.

There are some cases where you may want to permanently delete an order that was completed on your campaign, erasing any participants that were registered as part of that order. For example, if your staff went through registration and completed multiple orders as a test, you can remove all record of those orders.

Note: Only $0 orders can be erased. If a financial transaction was completed as part of the registration, such as a registration fee, in-order donation, or Shop or Raffle purchase, the order cannot be deleted as it contains a record of a financial transaction. However, tickets can be canceled for any participants on a paid order to ensure they are removed from your ticket count.

Steps

  1. Visit your campaign’s Dashboard.

  2. Select Orders from the left hand menu.

  3. Click on the name of the order you need to cancel to open the order snapshot.

  4. Click on the trash can icon in the top right corner.

  5. In the pop-up that appears, confirm that you want to permanently delete the order and its participants by selecting Delete Order.

Note: Every Order has a unique number. You’ll see an Order number listed when viewing a participant’s registration record and can click on it to be taken immediately to the Order snapshot.
