Check in attendees

Seamlessly check in attendees at your event

Updated over a week ago

Note: This feature only applies to In-Person Event or P2P In-Person Event campaign types.

If you are hosting an event on Pledge It, your campaign’s Dashboard will feature additional tools to help you manage event day logistics, such as check in. This tool allows you to search for participants, quickly check them in with the click of a button, or pull up a summary of their profile to view more information about their registration.

If you are also using features such as the Sponsors feature or table seating tool, the check in feature will also display sponsor affiliation and notify you which table an attendee is assigned to. If you have fundraising commitments enabled on your P2P In-Person Event, you will see a tab for Commitment when clicking on a participant's name, allowing you to charge their card if their commitment is overdue.

Steps

  1. Visit your campaign’s Dashboard.

  2. Select Event Day on the left side menu.

  3. Use the search bar to filter results by name or email. You can also search by table name or sponsor if applicable.

  4. After locating the attendee, you can click the Check In button to mark them as present or click on their name to pull up more information about their registration (or fundraising commitment, if applicable) before checking them in.

Tip: The search function on the check in table is a smart search and does not require that you spell someone’s name accurately. Begin typing and it will automatically start filtering your results, including partial matches based on similar spellings.
