Note: Refunds must be performed through your organization’s Stripe account. Stripe is the payment processor that Pledge It uses to process payments.
Steps
Log into your Stripe account or contact your nonprofit’s finance team to seek assistance with access to Stripe.
Search for the appropriate transaction in the Payments overview page and select it.
Select Refund button from the menu options in the top right corner of the payment page.
Confirm the amount to be refunded (or adjust as needed for a partial refund), select a reason for the refund from the dropdown, and hit Refund.
Refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear on a donor’s credit card statement, depending on the speed in which their bank or credit card provider processes the refund.
