Revoke invite in RegFlow

Revoke a pending or expired invite

Note: RegFlow is specific to P2P In-Person Event and In-Person Event campaigns.

When using RegFlow to manage applications or a waitlist, you can revoke invites that are pending or expired. Revoking an invite disables the invite code that was sent to the interested participant. Their application or waitlist submission would be shifted from the Invited tab in your RegFlow dashboard back to Needs Review (if their application was unranked) or Reviewed (if their application was ranked).

Why might you need to revoke an invite?

  • If an invite was sent to the wrong person by mistake

  • If the interested participant notifies you their plans changed and they're no longer interested in registering

  • If the interested participant's invite expired and you want to replace them with someone else

Steps

  1. Navigate to your campaign's Dashboard.

  2. Select RegFlow on the left side menu.

  3. Select the Invited tab on the RegFlow dashboard.

  4. Search for the person with the pending or expired invite and click on their submission.

  5. Select Revoke Invite. In the pop-up that appears, confirm you want to revoke the invite.

Note: If an invite expires and does not get revoked, it will stay marked as Expired in your RegFlow dashboard. If you have a capacity limit on a ticket, this can prevent you from filling an open spot. We recommend revoking expired invites to put the ticket back into inventory.
