Incentives can be customized when using the Achievements feature on P2P-enabled campaigns. The Incentives feature can be used to notify fundraisers of any incentives they’ve earned when they reach certain milestones. This feature will also help your organization keep track of which fundraisers have qualified for incentives to assist in fulfillment.
Note: Incentives must be paired with a milestone you've created on your campaign. Learn how to customize milestones.
Steps
Visit your campaign's Dashboard.
Select Achievements on the left side menu.
Navigate to the Incentives tab.
Click Create Incentive to add an incentive. To edit an existing incentive you've already enabled, click the Edit icon on the incentive.
In the pop-up that appears, choose the milestone that will qualify a fundraiser for the incentive.
If you don't see the milestone you need, return to the Milestones tab and create the milestone.
Customize the details of the incentive by adding a photo, name, and message. The message can be a description of the item and/or special instructions about receiving the incentive.
Click Save when complete and repeat for any additional incentives.
Track and Fulfill Incentives
After creating incentives for fundraisers to earn, you will be able to track which fundraisers have qualified for incentives and mark when the fundraiser has received their incentive. When visiting the Incentives tab of the Achievements dashboard, you will see a table that shows:
names of fundraisers who have qualified for an incentive
which incentive they earned
the date the incentive was met by the fundraiser
button for marking the incentive as fulfilled by your team
a Download button to export a report of incentives earned and participant contact information
Note: Ensuring fundraisers receive their incentive if your organization's responsibility. Whether you are mailing incentives to fundraisers or having them pick up incentives before or during your fundraiser, the fulfillment button is there as a resource to help you track when incentives have been received. Marking an incentive as fulfilled does not notify the fundraiser.
Frequently Asked Questions
How are milestones and incentives tracked?
Milestones and incentives are tracked based on individual fundraiser performance relative to category the milestone was created in. At this time, milestones and incentives do not apply to team performance.
Can I turn off incentives mid-fundraiser?
Yes, you can turn off incentives mid-fundraiser to prevent additional fundraisers from qualifying for the incentive. This does not impact fundraisers who have already met the incentive. Navigate to the incentive in your Achievements dashboard, then toggle it off. This may be necessary if you are offering a limited number of incentives, such as t-shirts for the first 50 people to raise $100. You can monitor the incentive and disable it when you reach your limit.
Note: Disabling the incentive does not disable the paired milestone. The milestone message may still be used to motivate or congratulate fundraisers for reaching that goal, but the incentive would no longer be included once disabled.
