You can control what questions appear during registration on your campaign, ensuring that you have the information you need about your participants to host a successful event or fundraising campaign.
Note: Contact information for participants (name, email, mailing address, and phone number) is configured separately when configuring tickets or registration. Custom questions should be for information needed in addition to basic contact info, otherwise you will be adding duplicate fields.
Steps
Visit your campaign’s Dashboard.
Select Settings from the left hand menu, then select Registration.
Visit the Collect Info tab. Under Participant Custom Questions, select Add Question.
A menu will appear showing the available types of questions you can add. Select the question type you need from the options provided.
A pop-up will appear. Under the Question menu, configure the question and use the toggles provided to indicate if you need to add Help Text or make the question Required.
Depending on the question type added, you may need to fill in the details of your question or provide multiple choice options.
Under the Settings menu, indicate if your question should apply to All Tickets or Select Tickets. If needed, choose which specific tickets should be asked this question.
Click Save when complete.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I enable questions only for certain participants?
Yes. You can apply questions to certain tickets on your campaign. By default, your questions will apply to all tickets unless indicated. When configuring your question, visit the Settings section of the pop-up and toggle from "All Tickets" to "Select Tickets" and indicate which ticket options should be asked the question. Your question will only appear to participants registering with that particular ticket.
Can I preview the questions I’ve added?
Yes. Select the Preview button above your questions. It will show you which questions apply to which ticket based on what you’ve indicated and show you how your questions will display to viewers during registration. Note that what you’re seeing will not be the full registration experience, but just the custom question portion. We recommend viewing your public campaign page and also previewing the entire registration experience before launching your campaign.
