Make your campaign page stand out by customizing the background image, button labels, and headline

Updated over 2 months ago

Your campaign header is the first thing visitors see when coming to your campaign page. Make your campaign stand out by customizing the background image, button labels, and headline, and more.

Steps

  1. Visit your campaign's Dashboard.

  2. Select Settings from the sidebar menu.

  3. Select Campaign Page from the Settings menu.

  4. Click Edit in the Campaign Header box.

  5. A pop-up will appear with additional settings. Review and customize as needed, then click Save.

Headline and Sub-headline

By default, the headline will be your campaign’s name, but you can use this field to overwrite what appears on your campaign header. It will only overwrite what appears on the header - your campaign name will remain unchanged in other locations where it appears. The sub-headline is a valuable spot to share more details about your event or a call-to-action.

Header Style

You will find three different options for how the header will appear when viewed on a desktop: Fade, Overlay, and Side-by-Side. When using the Fade or Overlay options, the portion of image shown on the screen will scale depending on the viewer’s screen size. When viewed on a mobile device, your campaign header will feature your campaign header photo in full, with the campaign headline and sub-headline listed below it, regardless of which header style you select.

Campaign Header Image

Click Edit to upload or remove a campaign header image. Campaign header images require a 4:3 aspect ratio, such as 1024 x 768, 1600x1200, or 1920xx1440. If you upload a photo that does not have a 4:3 aspect ratio, you will be prompted to crop your image to fit.

The image you upload as your campaign header image will also become the default image for fundraiser or team pages on campaigns that support Peer-to-Peer fundraising, if a custom image hasn’t been added.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I hide my campaign’s total amount raised?

Yes. You can decide if your total is featured on your campaign hero or not. Simply adjust the toggle in the Campaign Header settings to disable it. If your campaign also has a fundraising thermometer enabled, you can also choose to disable that under the Campaign Story section in Campaign Page Settings.

Best Practices

  • The sub-headline on your campaign header is valuable retail space on your campaign, as it is one of the first things that donors and participants see. Use it wisely to generate excitement about your event, highlight your campaign’s impact, or share additional important information that viewers may want at-a-glance.

  • Blurry photos can instantly make a campaign look less polished. Choose a high-quality image that speaks to your audience to build trust and engagement from first view.
