Donors who make recurring gifts are provided with a unique gift management link that allows them to update their giving plan preferences. They can change their gift amount, adjust if they want to cover fees or not, resend receipts from past gifts, change their credit card on file, and cancel or reactivate their plan.
This unique gift management link is included in every donor’s recurring gift receipt, but you can re-send the link to donors who request it.
Steps
Visit your Organization Dashboard and select Giving Plans.
Search for the donor’s name or email in the table provided.
Use the three dot menu to the right of their name and select “Send link to manage plan.” Alternatively, you can click on their name to pull up their full giving plan record and click the Send icon below their name.
In the pop-up that appears, confirm that you would like to resend the management link and click Send.

Pull up their giving plan record to view all details about their gift. Click Edit Donor Info and update their email address. Click Save, then go ahead with resending their management link.
What do donors see when they follow the giving plan management link?
Donors are taken to an overview of their giving plan that summarizes the amount, frequency, next charge, and confirmation of the credit card on file. They can update their plan or edit their payment method. Updating their plan allows them to change the frequency, change the charge date, change their fee coverage preference, or cancel their plan.
