Note: The Live Auction feature is specific to the In-Person Event campaign type.
Pledge It's Live Auction feature provides a way for you to:
promote your live auction items
record winning bids in your live auction
collect payment and issue receipts
Once this feature is enabled, you can add your live auction items to your campaign in advance for participants to preview. When a winning bidder is determined on event day, you can easily assign the participant event number or name of the winning bidder to that item. Recording a winner will add the Live Auction item and winning bid to their tab, so payment can be collected when you close out your event.
Enable Live Auction
Visit your campaign's Dashboard.
Select Settings on the left side menu.
Select Live Auction and adjust the toggle to On.
You will be taken to your Live Auction Settings menu and be able to:
Customize a landing page that will preview your Live Auction items
Choose your item numbering preference
Review your current Participant Event Number settings.
Click Save to apply any changes.
Select Manage Live Auction to be taken to your new Live Auction dashboard where you can begin creating items.
Tip: We strongly recommend enabling Participant Event Numbers when using Live Auction, as this tool will allow you to record a winning bid using a participant's assigned number, rather than searching by name or email.
Live Auction Item Numbering
You can organize your live auction items by assigning them numbers. When item numbering is enabled, you will be able to choose if you want the item numbers to be publicly listed or for internal view only.
Item Numbers Off: An Item Number will not be assigned.
Automatic Item Numbers: An Item Number will be automatically assigned at item creation and can be modified by editing the item.
Manual Item Numbers: An Item Number can be manually assigned to an item during item creation.
