Customize your campaign design with your brand colors

Every campaign can be customized with a primary and secondary color. The primary color will determine the color of the buttons on your campaign, both on the campaign header and throughout the registration or donation process. The secondary color will determine the color of your campaign’s fundraising thermometer (if enabled) and text on fundraiser and/or team pages indicating campaign details.

Steps

  1. Visit your Campaign Dashboard.

  2. Select Settings on the left side menu.

  3. Click on the Design tab.

  4. Enter the hex color code (a six-digit code used to represent a color on a computer screen) of your desired branding colors, or click on the color picker to choose from some preset colors.

  5. Click Save.

Additional colors can be used throughout your campaign when adding custom content blocks, as either background colors or text colors. When adding custom content, you will see your custom campaign colors available to choose from on the color picker, but can also input any hex color code desired.

Not sure how to find the hex codes you need? Your organization's Communications team may have a branding guide that contains color codes for you to reference. You can also browse an online HTML color picker (like this one) to find the hex codes of various colors and shades.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I set custom campaign colors to apply across all my campaigns?

Yes. You can use the Global Defaults feature in your Organization Settings to set your organization’s branding colors, which will apply to any new campaign you create from that point forward. Visit your Organization Dashboard > Org Settings > Global Defaults and go to the Design tab.

Best Practices

  • Don’t skip customizing your colors! It’s an easy way to help your campaign look polished, and it also helps build trust among donors and participants who are expecting the fundraising campaign to look and feel like it belongs to your organization.

  • We strongly discourage using light colors such as White (#FFFFFF) or Light Grey (#EEF0F2) as your primary or secondary campaign colors, as it may result in illegible elements throughout your campaign pages.

  • Keep web accessibility standards in mind when setting your custom colors and avoid hues that will make text illegible. Consider testing your colors in a color contrast checker to see if they pass Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) international standards.
