Note: This feature only applies to In-Person Event or P2P In-Person Event campaign types.
When coordinating an event with an in-person component, you can choose to display a content block that showcases a summary of your event details, including the date, time, address, link to directions, and any brief notes or context you want to include. An optional photo can be added to show the event location or map.
Set event time and location
Visit your campaign's Dashboard and click Settings on the left side menu.
Under General Settings, select the Event tab.
In the Event Dates box, confirm the date and time (optional) of the event are correct.
In the Location box, fill in the details of your event's location, such as the location name (i.e. Central Park) and the address.
Click Save.
Display event details on your campaign page
In the Settings menu, navigate to Campaign Page on the left side menu.
Choose the page you'd like to display your event details on, select Add Section, then choose the Event Details content block.
Enter the event name as you'd like it to appear in the content block, additional context about location or parking details (optional), and a location photo or map (optional).
Click Save, then drag and drop your content block to the correct location on your campaign page.
Note: You do not need to include the exact address or direction links in the description if you've already entered those in your campaign settings, as they'll be displayed automatically. Use this space to provide any brief notes or contextual information.
Example
The following example includes both a short description; date, time, and location details; and a photo. Not all of these are required and you can choose to provide as much detail you want.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do these location details appear anywhere else on my campaign if I don't enable the content block?
Your event date and time (if provided) are included in the Order Receipt for your campaign, but the location specifics and link to directions are not automatically displayed unless you choose to enable the Event Details content block.
How are the directions provided?
When someone clicks "Get Directions," it will open Google Maps and provide directions to the address you entered. We recommend you double check your event address to ensure it is correct.
