Customize Silent Auction Receipt

Edit the receipt that is sent to winning bidders after the close of your silent auction

If you have enabled the Silent Auction feature, you can customize the receipt that winning bidders receive. By default, this receipt includes the auction item and winning bid, a link back to the auction item listing, payment details, and a support contact. There are two text areas that you can customize to share additional details with winning bidders.

Steps

  1. Visit your campaign's Dashboard.

  2. Select Settings from the left side menu, then select Email.

  3. Click on Edit below Silent Auction Receipt. You will see a preview display of the email display in the right pane. In the left pane, you can use the text editor to customize your preferred message in the text areas provided.

  4. Click Save when finished editing.

Note: The Silent Auction Receipt does not include tax-deductibility information. Winning bidders should consult with a tax professional to determine what portion, if any, of their winning bid may be tax-deductible.
