If you need to remove an item from your auction and that item has already received bids, it is possible to cancel bidding on an item. This will remove it from public view to prevent additional bids and cancel any active bids. The auction item will still display in your Dashboard, but will be marked as canceled.
Steps
Visit your campaign’s Dashboard.
Select Auction to view your auction items.
Hover your mouse over the item you would like to delete, click the three dot menu, and select Cancel Bidding. Alternatively, you can click on the item to pull up its profile, click the three dot menu next to the Edit button, and select Cancel Bidding.
A pop-up will appear confirming your intention to cancel bidding for the item. Select Cancel Bidding to confirm.
Note: Canceling bidding on an item cannot be undone.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does canceling bidding notify anyone who has placed a bid on the item?
No. You may want to notify the highest bidder that bidding on the item has been canceled if you have not already communicated with them.
Can I delete canceled items?
Auction items can only be deleted if they have not received bids. If you canceled bidding on an item with no bids, then yes, you can delete it. If you canceled bidding on an item with bids, you will be unable to delete it as there is a record of bid activity.
